How is COVID-19 Affecting Pool Projects?

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is seeing many businesses temporarily suspend or reduce operations. We wanted to share how RenoSys has adjusted its day-to-day operations as we do our part in helping to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

On-site installation crews.

We have several crews of trained installers on job sites around the country at any given time. We take their safety – and the safety of those in the community in which they are working – very seriously. We have drafted strict instructions for our field crews to follow during the course of their work. The measures include detailed procedures for:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and fleet.
  • Maintaining social distancing.
  • Limiting travel.

Our crews will observe these safety protocols regardless of whether the state they are in has implemented its own measures, and will obey any additional measures a state or city they are working in has announced.

Manufacturing and office staff.

Similarly, our manufacturing and administrative staff are functioning with special policies that enable them to work in a safe environment. New or existing customers will be able to place orders or contact our representatives by the same methods they normally do.

Why does RenoSys continue to operate during so many restrictions?

Many states in the US have developed clear classifications for ‘essential’ services. Most have included construction in that category. Because RenoSys manufactures its major product components in the US, many builders and installers continue to rely on us to supply to their projects.

In addition, local government departments including school boards and parks departments count on RenoSys to make public pool facilities safer and more enjoyable for communities.

For the latest on limits on construction activity, we recommend checking out this state-by-state tracker from Builder.

Delays and uncertainty.

RenoSys remains committed to saving America’s swimming pools from closure or demolition. We will continue to provide what we believe is an important service while being responsible during the pandemic. Although delays to project start / end times, deliveries, and support requests are possible, we will do everything we can to make them short.

Thank you for your patience and support. Stay well, Be safe.
