The Marlette Community Pool, situated within the 17-acre Marlette City Park on Chard Street, has been a cornerstone of local recreation since its original construction in the 1950s. The initial complex featured a large swimming pool, a small wading pool, a bathhouse, and parking areas.

The project involved the complete renovation of an egg-shaped municipal pool in the City of Marlette, MI. RenoSys was tasked with removing the existing PVC membrane and installing a new Hagenplast (HP) liner. The project, which covered an area of 4,900 square feet, was completed in just 12 working days by a dedicated RenoSys team, who delivered outstanding results.

Problems:

The primary issue was a wall breach that allowed water to get behind the liner, compromising its integrity and causing runs or wrinkles in the liner. This breach necessitated the removal of the existing liner and thorough surface preparation to ensure a secure installation of the new HP liner. Despite these challenges, the RenoSys team successfully restored the pool’s functionality and aesthetics.
