A large wave pool in Pennsylvania, spanning 36,600 square feet, recently underwent a major renovation performed by RenoSys. The project included installing a new PVC membrane across the entire pool surface and extending the membrane into the wave caissons to increase durability and ensure long term watertight performance. The renovation was completed to keep the wave pool safe, functional, and visually appealing for future visitors.

The RenoSys team averaged 3,050 square feet of membrane installation per day, demonstrating strong efficiency and attention to detail. The customer was highly satisfied with the results and noted the crew’s exceptional work ethic.

Problems:

The biggest challenge was the sheer size of the wave pool. Renovating 36,600 square feet required extensive planning, precise scheduling, and consistent quality control. Extending the membrane into the wave caissons added another level of difficulty, as these areas needed highly accurate application to maintain complete watertight integrity.

Despite the size and complexity of the project, the RenoSys team completed the renovation on schedule. Working around the wave pool’s unique features, including the caissons, required custom installation methods to ensure a smooth and reliable finish throughout the entire facility.
